help a student in many ways, such as, improving their technological awareness and skills, they could also use these maps as a great way to present information to their peers.
5-A-1: We chose Gasoline Gus because we were interested in what the song was about. It can be used for language arts classes to compare and contrast telling a story through music.
It can be used in Social Studies when teaching about World War I and the early 20th century. It could be used in conjunction with viewing the movie that the song was from. You could have your students compare and contrast this selection with a selection from WWII.
It can be used in a music or performing arts class at the high school level to compare and contrast the songs from movies during that teim with movies from 1940-2000.
